Well…we had an amazing time in Shanghai!!! I followed eight Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence around Shanghai Pride 6 for 9 days and nights and it was nothing short of incredible!!!! The people were awesome! The food was great! And the events were a blast!!!
I’ll be going live with a new fund-raiser very soon and below is the link to the latest video for it. Stay tuned!!! I have done a lot of work over the last year and it is really starting to come together!!! I am so blessed to have the Sister’s support and openness as a subject.
I truly hope this doc helps raise awareness and motivates others to act to help bring about positive change in areas of the world that has anti-gay legislation on their books.
If we follow our hearts and work together, we can make a difference.

I need to raise funds for a stealthier camera to get in and out of Shanghai with my footage of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence participating in Shanghai Pride 2014. In China it is still forbidden to “promote” unlawfully. That means all events and parades must be approved ahead of time, and at this point, Pride events are not sanctioned. Consequently, everything must be planned secretly and any footage must be taken surreptitiously. I really need your help!
My documentary is focused on International Gay Rights and The Sisters’ International Activism. While Sister Flatulina Grandé transformed before my eyes, we had a chance to talk at length about many issues. Here she touched on gay travel.

So…for the last several months I have been laying the ground work for my first full length documentary film Love is All Around. It has been exciting and I have never felt so engaged and in my own skin before! It has been fantastic!
The film is centered on The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and their international activism. I will be traveling with them to Shanghai China next June to document their participation in Shanghai Pride. Keep tabs on our group Sisters4Shanghai via Facebook!
I will be speaking with ORAM International on the plight of LGBTI peoples in other countries and their work to assist refugees seeking asylum.
There will be elements of Sisterly humor to keep the tenor light while shedding light on the very serious issue of LGBTI rights internationally.
This is easily the most important work I have ever done and I am so very grateful to have the Sister’s support and inclusion. It is truly an honor.
Currently in Russia, Putin’s antigay legislation is translating into real human rights abuses. It is appalling and a huge step backwards for all people gay and straight. It is an assault on us collectively as the human race.
On Thursday I did a video shoot with one of the Sisters who was kind enough to go through the process of getting into drag for me and my camera. It was awesome to watch and so fun to document.
